THE CLUB

Brighton stormers are an established inline skater hockey club with members from across Sussex. The Club was born from the Keep Sussex Skating "KSS" Regency Blades Club who used to run outdoor weekly sessions in Brighton's Preston Park. KSS was set up in 1988 in response to the closure of Brighton's "Sussex" ice rink and continue to campaign to this day.

Stormers have come along way since the early days and play all their matches on an enclosed rink. They have consistently performed well in South East leagues, regularly competing across all age groups in both Regional / National championships and tournaments.

THE GAME

Skater Hockey is fast and exciting, operating under similar rules to Ice Hockey. Players wear inline roller skates instead of ice skates.
Matches are played in both adapted leisure centres and purpose built rinks.

Stormers have teams playing in both the SESHA ball league, part of the British Inline Skater Hockey Association (BiSHA) and the BIPHA South East puck legue. Part of the British Inline Puck Hockey Association (BIPHA).
