Brighton Stormers

about us

Brighton Street Stormers was created back in 1997 and run for many years by Ray and Linda Morton. The Club was born from the Keep Sussex Skating "KSS" Regency Blades Club who used to run outdoor weekly sessions in Brighton's Preston Park. KSS was set up in 1988 in response to the closure of Brighton's "Sussex" ice rink and continues to campaign to this day.

The game of Skater Hockey is fast and exciting, operating under similar rules to Ice Hockey although visually it has it's differences. Players wear inline roller skates instead of ice skates. Stormers have teams playing play in both the SESHA Ball league, part of the British Inline Skater Hockey Association (BiSHA) and the BIPHA South East puck league, part of the British Inline Puck Hockey Association (BIPHA).

Brighton Stormers have teams playing league skater hockey across the following 4 age groups:

Pee Wee (under 12s) – Training Fridays - 6 to 7.30pm at Moulsecoombe Leisure Centre

Youth (under 15s) – Training Fridays – 7.30 to 9pm at Moulsecoombe Leisure Centre
